Thesis Master's Program
The "Master's Degree with Thesis" program has been carried out in the Radio, Television and Cinema Department of Fırat University Faculty of Communication since the 2005-2006 academic year, and the name of the program has been changed to "Communication Sciences Program" since the 2010-2011 academic year. The Communication Sciences Program within the Fırat University Institute of Social Sciences primarily provides the opportunity for graduates of the Faculty of Communication to improve themselves academically. Students who graduate from the Departments of Journalism, Public Relations and Publicity, Radio - Television and Cinema continue to their education through a master's program with thesis.

Prof. Dr. Süleyman İLASLAN is the Head of the Communication Sciences Program.

 

Non-Thesis Master's Program (Pedagogical Formation)
Nowadays, the opening of Communication Vocational High Schools in many parts of our country has paved the way for Communication graduates to become teachers. After a four-year education, people who apply for pedagogical formation and complete this training have the opportunity to work in public institutions through KPSS exam.

 

Communication Sciences PhD Program
Fırat University Institute of Social Sciences has started education by incorporating the Communication Sciences Ph.D. program as of the 2018-2019 Fall semester.
